How the A/C service works
When booking parking at fixparking.cz, simply add the additional A/C service. Choose your option (diagnostics / recharge / recharge + disinfection).
You arrive at FixParking (Do Blatin 373, Prague 5 – Zličín), pay a CZK 1,000 deposit for consumables, and hand over the keys. Then you continue your trip.
The technician checks the refrigerant amount, the system tightness (vacuum testing), and the overall condition. Everything is done without you — while you are away.
You receive a detailed message: how much refrigerant is missing, how many grams are needed, and how much the recharge will cost. Do you confirm? We recharge it. Do not want it? We do not continue — no extra fees.
R134a or R1234yf refrigerant is added precisely to the required amount. After recharging, we verify the correct function of the system.
After landing, you call the shuttle, return to your car, and the A/C welcomes you with pleasant cool air. You receive a clear overview of what you paid for.

How the CZK 1,000 deposit works
When handing over the car, you leave a CZK 1,000 deposit for consumables. After the service is completed, you receive a detailed breakdown:
If the cost is under CZK 1,000, we return the difference when handing the car back.
If the cost is above CZK 1,000, you only pay the difference. You always know in advance.

Questions about car A/C recharge
How long does the A/C diagnostics take?
The diagnostics itself takes approximately 30–60 minutes. You receive the result by e-mail within a few hours. It is all done while you are away.
How long does the A/C recharge take?
A standard recharge (vacuuming, refrigerant refill, function check) takes about 1.5–2 hours. The option with disinfection takes approximately 2–2.5 hours. Everything is done during your parking time.
I do not want to pay a deposit. Is there any alternative?
The CZK 1,000 deposit covers material costs — refrigerant is charged according to actual consumption. Without a deposit, material availability cannot be guaranteed. The alternative is option 1 (diagnostics for CZK 300 without a deposit) — after receiving the results, you decide whether you want the refill.
What is included in the recharge price?
The basic CZK 2,000 price includes labor (vacuuming, recharge, function check). Consumables (refrigerant, oil) are charged separately according to actual use: R134a at CZK 3/gram, R1234yf at CZK 8/gram. Typical consumption is 400–600 grams, meaning CZK 1,200–4,800 for materials.
What if you find a fault during diagnostics?
If we find a problem (refrigerant leak, damaged compressor, or another issue), we inform you by e-mail and honestly recommend a specialized auto service. We do not repair anything without your approval and we do not do anything beyond our specialization.
Can I combine the A/C recharge with other services?
Yes. When booking parking, you can add multiple extra services at once — for example A/C service and PDR dent repair. Everything happens while you are away so you return to a fully prepared car.
How is payment handled?
The CZK 1,000 deposit is paid when handing over the vehicle, in cash or by card. After the service, you get a summary: if the total is lower, we return the difference; if higher, you only pay the difference. Parking is paid separately on exit.
What if my A/C does not need refilling?
In that case, you only pay CZK 300 for diagnostics (option 1), or we do not refill and return the deposit (if you booked option 2 or 3 and diagnostics show the refrigerant level is sufficient). We never charge for work that was not performed.
